A scenic loop trail that has views of Bryce Canyon, Glen Canyon and other amazing places. After about 2 miles the trail comes to an old road. Turn left following the road to the south. When you see the pink cliffs above you to the north you are just below Canaan Peak which is a great campsite.

Little Presque is an amazing place to hang out for a day in both the summer and winter. Its has it all, beautiful sand beach, rough cliffs, and majestic forest. To get to the Island there is about a 50 meter walk in waist deep water to get there. In the winter there is an ice bridge you can cross but be careful. The cliff jumping ranges from 10-25 feet.
Well maintained trail when the three falls are measured together its 120 feet tall. Since the path is well maintained this gets crowded. The first quarter mile is nice and easy. After that it becomes steeper. You can swim and slid down the falls at this location.
Echo Lake is between little presque and little garlic. Its on a dirt road and four wheel drive is recommended. If you are coming from Marquette the road will be on your left. Once on the road stick to the left as it splits. The trail splits to the peninsula and up to the lookout.
On the west side of Teal Lake there is a little path that is only a 10 minute hike to the rope swing. When driving on 41 turn on Hickory St. Follow the road through the park and watch for signs to Teal Lake Lodge. There is a parking lot at the end of the road.
Rum Runners is a beautiful place to hang out for a day. The hike to get there is along lake Superior shoreline. This section of shoreline is amazing and I suggest that people explore along the shoreline. Park at Sugar Loaf and use the trail to the left. Take that all the way to the lake. Rum Runners is to the left.
Black Rocks is a section of Presque Isle Park which lies inside the city limits of Marquette. It is a 5-10 minute drive from the center of the city, and provides a wide array of day/nighttime activities including hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and great cliff jumping. Unfortunately, camping is not permitted within the area of Black Rocks. Another portion of Presque Isle Park is Sunset Point which, as the name displays, is a fantastic spot for watching the beautiful Lake Superior sunsets. There are also a series of gazebos, grills, and benches along the waterside hiking paths that allow for a full day of leisure and fun.
