Mt. Elbert is the highest peak in Colorado. There is four routes to get to the top. The Northeast ridge which is 9 miles with a elevation gain of 4700ft. The East ridge and Box Creek Couloirs are 8.5 mile is almost the same elevation gain at 4100ft. At 11 miles and 5300ft elevation gain the southeast ridge is the longest route.
